What do you need to know about me?
For better or worse, I am my father's son and I am my mother's son.

My father (Larry Ben) was named for his father (Benjamin). I (Larry Jámal) was named for my father and my son (Nesta Jamal) was named for his father.

That thing above the a in Jámal is an acute. I have one in my name, however my son does not. You may see lots of spelling variants to my name (L'Jamal, L J'amal, L J'mal), but there is only one correct manner (L. Jámal).

I have 5 true loves in life my family, comic books, art, computers, and Bob Marley. I am not married (and have no plans to be). My girlfriend (Deanne) and I have been together for 9 years and have 3 children [Gwen (12), McKenzie (7), and Nesta (5)].

I've lived in Germany, I've lived in California, I've lived in Florida, but I've lived most of my life in North Carolina. I graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, NC. I attended Duke University in Durham, NC. My company (L. Jámal Inc) is based in Durham, NC.

I stay busy because there aren't enough hours in the day to complete everything I want to do and spend time with my family. I spend 40 hours a week doing web programming at JLS Media.
